Change Your Proxy Settings On Update Chrome & Firefox Browser



Proxy and IP address are the distinctive address of different computer, location and internet connection. Proxies help you to get access in some specific website or other features which are restricted for some areas and specific device. Trick To Change Proxy Settings Using Chrome & Mozilla Firefox


Mozilla Firefox Proxy Settings:


        👉Open Mozilla Firefox  >> Open menu  >> Options
·          👉 Now in General Tab, go to bottom of the page.
·          👉 Click on Network Proxy >> Settings…
·          👉 Then a manual window will appear click on Manual proxy configuration add your proxy in the place HTTP Proxy box and also add Port no 8080 in the given box.


·        👉Just under the Proxy box there is option about Use this proxy server for all protocols. You should check that box also if necessary.


     👉 Then Press ok, now your browser proxies are changed into a new proxy.


Google Chrome and Other Browsers Proxy Settings

If you want to add Proxy of your Google Chrome browser then above trick will not work, you need to follow another trick for it. This will work for all other browsers internet connection.
·        👉Open Google Chrome Browser.
·        👉From top of the right corner click on setting button >>  Then click on settings from the drop down list.
·        👉A new window will appear then scroll down of the page using your mouse and click on Advanced settings.


·        Scroll down again and click on Open Proxy Settings.


·        👉A new window will appear, in this new window click on the connection tab.

·        👉In the connection tab you have setting option for Dial up connection and LAN connection.
·        👉If your connection is Dial up then select it from the dial box and its setting option is just in the right side of the box.
·        👉But if your connection is LAN then click on LAN settings.


·        👉Check the box use a proxy server for your LAN connection under Proxy servers section.
·        👉Then add your Proxy that you prefer and port addresses 8080.
·        👉After completing all the task above check the box Bypass proxy server for local addresses option.
·        👉Now save your all settings and new proxies will start working.
These settings described above are working for Mozilla and Google Chrome but chrome settings will work for whole internet connection that means no need to add manually any other proxy for all other browser.

Note: In case of manually proxy addition of other browser in your device go to control panel and then find internet option and do the same task as described in chrome settings.
